The original four clans had started to become over crowded. The younger cats started arguing with the older ones. Internal wars were breaking out in the clans. Life was a mess. We, StarClan, had decided to intervene. We sent a message to each Medicine cat at the last Gathering as to what was to be done. Our message was simple this time. Four brave cats leave to start anew along with a loyal few. The clans then saw it as a sign for the clans to split and create new ones. Each clan sent five warriors, one apprentice and their medicine cat apprentices off to find a new home. We watched the young cats struggle on their journey but ultimately arrive. Four cats had risen above the others during this time and those four would lead the new clans and start the coarse for a new beginning.
